Is your Phalaenopsis Orchid growing in bark or moss? For bark, lift the pot, as it gets lighter in weight and the color of the bark looks dry go ahead and water. For moss however, poke your finger into the moss to see if it is dry; looks can be deceiving. The moss takes much longer to dry out so much less frequent watering is necessary. We at Orchard Nursery want you to enjoy every minute you can out in your yard. To that end, we are running a 30% off special on our new yellowjacket traps. W.H.Y. Traps are the next generation in safe and targeted insect control. They naturally capture all of the wasps, hornets, and yellowjackets without harming beneficial honeybees. Fall is the time when foraging workers are most likely to sting, so put the traps out now. The 30% off sale will run through Sunday, September 6th so that you may enjoy your Labor Day BBQ in peace!
