Bulb Food.

E. B. Stone Tomato & Vegetable Food
is formulated from quality natural organic ingredients for use throughout the vegetable garden as well as with soft fruits like strawberries. It will contribute to even plant growth without producing excessive foliage at the expense of fruit. The additional phosphorous helps to ensure the production of high quality fruits and vegetables. The calcium in our Tomato & Vegetable fertilizer aids in preventing disorders like blossom end rot and helps to correct acidic soil conditions. For superior produce, use our Flower & Vegetable Planting Mix with native soil when preparing your beds.

Frost protection

This year the holiday season has arrived covered with frost. Severe frost burn can destroy or disfigure a favorite plant and even repeated light frosts will cause sensitive plants to decline.

An easy application of CLOUD COVER from a handy trigger sprayer provides convenient protection against light frost. The spray coats the plant and greatly reduces the loss of moisture. This means the plants can endure several degrees more frost than they could if left unprotected.

For heavier frost protection we offer frost blankets which actually insulate the plants. Frost Protek FROST COVERS are bags with drawstrings ideal for the protection of hanging baskets and container plants. Easy Gardener PLANT AND SEED BLANKETS (6’ x 20’) are ideal for the protection of row crops or hedges or for wrapping around larger plants. DeWitt N-SULATE (10’ x 12’) can be easily draped over larger shrubs and small trees. Be sure to remove the frost blankets during the daytime hours.

Make your Cut Greens Last Longer!

While decking your hall with boughs of holly (or cedar) and ornamenting your front door with a decorative wreath, consider extending their period of freshness with an application of CLOUD COVER Plant Protector to reduce moisture loss.

KEEPS-IT-GREEN Christmas Tree Preservative added to the water bowl will extend the life of your Christmas tree, retard needle drop and reduce the fire hazard produced by dry foliage.
